Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 hurricane, made landfall on Jamaica's southwestern coast on October 28, 2025. With winds up to 185 MPH, torrential rainfall, and extensive flooding, the impacts are expected to be catastrophic. Multiple fatalities were reported prior to landfall, power has been lost, and homes and infrastructure will face devastating impacts. Multiple other Caribbean nations are also at risk as the storm moves through the region in the coming days. The following organizations have mobilized emergency response teams and committed critical resources to disaster relief efforts. On 30 September an earthquake struck off the coast of Bogo City, Cebu province. There are 69 reported deaths and 201 injuries (expected to rise in the coming days), mostly in Bogo City, Medellin, and San Remigio and over 111,600 individuals have been affected, with more than 20,000 displaced, mostly are staying outside evacuation centers. Initial reports indicate widespread damage to homes, churches, public buildings, roads, and ports. Many displaced families are sheltering in front of their houses and in open spaces due to the ongoing aftershocks.

A powerful offshore 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck near Bogo City in the Philippines in the late evening of September 30, 2025. More than 60 casualties and 150 injuries have been reported, and homes, businesses, and infrastructure have been destroyed. Relief efforts are currently underway, including search and rescue efforts, medical intervention, meal distribution, and other critical services. Transgender Awareness Week is celebrated from November 13th through November 19th each year, and aims to increase public knowledge surrounding the common issues faced by the transgender community including discrimination and prejudice in various forms, socioeconomic and healthcare inequities, and acts of violence, among others. Additionally, Transgender Awareness Week highlights the importance of trans visibility in all spaces, showcases stories and experiences from within the transgender community, and encourages allies to stand in solidarity by showing their support and commitment to working towards justice and equality. Transgender Awareness Week precedes Transgender Day of Remembrance, observed annually on November 20th. Transgender Day of Remembrance memorializes the lives lost to targeted, anti-transgender violence and advocates for the fight for justice. In addition to supporting nonprofit organizations with a donation, you can participate by organizing or attending a vigil to honor those who have lost their lives to targeted acts of violence. Your donation to this Fund will help support the selected organizations' shared mission of providing support in all forms to the transgender community, increasing trans visibility, and advocating for justice and inclusion through direct client services, policy development, and educational programming.

Movember is a global movement to raise awareness surrounding men's health, with a particular focus on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. The Movember Foundation funds various projects surrounding early detection initiatives as well as suicide prevention, and ultimately aims to improve health outcomes for men around the world. Your donation to this Fund will help directly support The Movember Foundation's mission to improve men's health on a global scale through research, programming, and awareness campaigns, with an emphasis on open conversation and destigmatization.

November 11th is Veteran's Day, a national day of recognition for veterans of the United States Armed Forces. November is Native American Heritage Month (NAHM), also known as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. It is a time to celebrate the rich and diverse ancestry, cultures, traditions, and histories of America's Indigenous people. According to the National Congress of American Indians, NAHM is also “an opportunity to educate our workforce, raise awareness about the uniqueness of Native people, and the myriad of ways in which tribal citizens have conquered challenges to maintain voice and dignity and to remain an influencing presence in a rapidly evolving nation.” Through a single donation to the Native American Heritage Month Fund, you will support Indigenous-led nonprofits focused on building Indigenous power, protecting and restoring land and culture, and strengthening and supporting healthy Native communities.
